  • Test kit provided and used to measure sanitizing solution concentration
    REPEAT VIOLATION - test strips are required to monitor the concentration of sanitizer used for cleaning food contact surfaces. Observed that quarternary chemical is used at the dish washing sink.
  • When to wash
    Observed that a hand washing policy is not established. During this inspection, three food employees (vounteers) came on duty. All persons had to be instructed to wash their hands and where to wash their hands.
  • Sanitizers
    REPEAT - Observation of Clorox Clean Up spray used for food contact surfaces. The chemical is in excess of the required concentration and cannot be used on food contact surfaces.
  • Outer openings are protected
    REPEAT VIOLATION - Gaps under or around exterior door or windows. Observed that the door seals have not been replaced at the north door and the south door in the storage area. Observed that the south door (next to the hand sink) is left open during operating hours. Openings are required to be protected to prevent pests.
