Description: The 27-hole championship course in this golf community was designed by Gary Player.The Canyon Ranch Course requires strength; the signature 5th hole is elevated—and we’re talking high up. On the meandering Ranch Course, it’s the 3rd hole, called Parachute, that’s the challenge—again, it’s the elevation. The Meadow Course highlights the dry, dramatic scenery of inland San Diego County. You might spy rabbits and lots of birds. For the Meadow Course, it’s the 6th hole that most remember. Here you must hit the ball over a deep ravine to make it to the green. The Canyon Course is 3,206 yards, the Ranch Course is 3,205 yards, and the Meadow Course is 3,273 yards, with six different combinations of play for all types of players.There’s a practice facility, including a target-oriented driving range and two large putting greens. The fees for residents and nonresidents are $59 and $99, respectively, Monday through Thursday; $89 $139 Fridays and $79 and $119 weekends. There’s no extra charge for carts. You can reserve starting times in advance, paying extra to reserve eight days ahead or more. The dress code prohibits jeans, cutoffs, short shorts, and collarless shirts. Clubs can be rented at the well-stocked pro shop.
