Description: Since 1923 Helen Hunt Jackson’s classic novel Ramona has been brought to life at the annual Ramona Pageant in the town of Hemet. Staged in the historic Ramona Bowl, a California State Landmark, the canyon setting and hillside provide the backdrop to a poignant love story that unfolds between Ramona and her Indian hero. The cast, which includes more than 400 adults and children, is a sellout each year.
