~ Are you good at fixing things with your hands? I've learned to be good at that.
~ When was the last time you spent time in nature? I spent some time about 5 a.m. this morning sitting in my large, private, back yard. I watched as the squirrels eyed me suspiciously. Blue jays and cardinals gathered in the tall pine trees that surround my yard, and I could hear chickens crowing in the distance. Today is another work day for me, and when I finish my work (known as a 'vacation area') I plan to walk the quiet end of the sandy beach along the Atlantic Ocean.
~ My friend used to tell me that I was good at making people feel comfortable
~ Getting old is not..........something to be dreaded. If you're able........ walk with a spring in your step and keep busy. People will wonder what you're up to. That was my mother's advice to me.
~ Are you good at fixing things with your hands? Nope. My latest adventure in "fixing" involved my computer modem going dead (after about 17 years) and I couldn't even unscrew the cable from it. My cable company gave me a new one and they installed it.
~ When was the last time you spent time in nature? May 10th - A lousy weather day in a lousy weather week.
~ My friend used to tell me that I was good at.......... I have a theory : People who tell you that you are good at something are not good at that same thing so in reality, you are only better than them and then in you're head, you are thinking "What do they know?" OR, they are trying to flatter you to get you to do the thing for them which definitely works better on husbands.
~ Getting old is not......... for uh, the next word will probably get me excommunicated from CD so I'll just say --- cats.
~ I try to never lose my........ As my keyring says that I have had since the 1970s, "Of all the things that I have lost, I miss my mind the most." Who would have thunk it -- losing your mind before losing your keys.
Have a peaceful week, everyone.
