Trump National Golf Club

The Trump National Golf Club located in the southern California city of Ranch Palos Verdes is a public course open to all people and features a hotel, restaurants, pro shop, and golf academy. The course was built in 1999 and purchased by Donald Trump in 2002. In August of 2004 Mr. Trump closed the facilities for two years with plans to do a complete renovation. The course reopened in January of 2006 with 18 holes.

The course was designed by Donald Trump and his team of golf course architects. The club house is over 45,000 square feet and features a pro shop, locker rooms, executive meeting rooms, The Café Pacific restaurant, The Golfer's Lounge, Trump National Bar, The Grill at Trump National, a Grand Ballroom, and a luxury spa that is nearly complete.

Donald Trump has also built 50 luxury homes that are for sale on ocean front lots. The homes range from 6,000 square feet to 15,000 square feet and all have panoramic views of the golf course and ocean. Trump National Golf Club has been the home to several golf events, celebrity gatherings, and weddings.

The golf academy is taught by a resident professional with individual lessons or group classes as the mode of instruction.
