Tennis Club District

The Tennis Club District in Palm Springs, California is a historic area, set up with a variety of homes for rent and ownership. The Tennis Club District is two blocks from downtown Palm Springs. It is also the historic hotel district. Many of the homes for rent in this area were built in the 60s. There are 10 units as part of the Tennis Club District. Shopping, restaurants, and the Village Fest are all close to the Tennis Club District.

It is called the Tennis Club District for a couple of reasons. First, it is the main area in Palm Springs with tennis courts. Anyone staying in the district has access to onsite courts, whether it is part of the official club or part of their condo rental.

The Tennis Club District also has the Palm Springs Tennis Club Resort. This resort offers mountain and desert views. It also has three swimming pools, championship golf courses, and is on the Palm Springs Strip.

The Tennis Club District was founded in the 1960s for those who were retiring and loved playing tennis at clubs. Today many of the clubs allow vacation memberships, as well as full time memberships.
