Suisun City Marina and Boat Ramp

Suisun City Marina and Boat Ramp is located at 800 Kellogg Street in Suisun City, California. The marina was rebuilt in 1994 to improve its original design. With the remodel they incorporated 150 rental slips, which are set along a 300 foot dock. The boat launch ramps are at the south end of the marina and completely open to the public. In addition to the other changes made a new Harbormaster Building was designed at 800 Kellogg Street, too.

The Suisun Channel is one of the reasons the marina and boat ramp were built in its present location. The channel was dredged during the remodel in order to offer better deep water access for recreational boats. The Channel offers access to the California Delta and San Francisco Bay. The marina is next to Suisun Marsh, which is also one of the largest contiguous wetland preserves in the United States.

The marsh has 84,000 acres of marsh land, which is open to California and visitors. Nature enthusiasts, fishermen, boaters, and hunters can enjoy the area. Sturgeon and striped bass are the most common fish in the Channel. Other options at the marina include water skiing, jet skiing, kayaking and other water activity like diving.
