Santa Clara University


Santa Clara University is a Jesuit Catholic University in Silicon Valley, Santa Clara, California. They have programs for 8,000 students. The programs include undergraduate studies in arts, science, business, and engineering. They also have master's, PhD, and law degree programs for graduate studies. Nationally, the university is known as the fourth highest graduating university due to the number of students that make graduation.

Santa Clara University began 150 years ago to provide higher education to those in Santa Clara and the surrounding area. It is possible to look at the history and archives to learn more about it. Visitors can also tour the campus, while learning about the history of the university.

Anyone who wishes to become a student will have to submit an application, have top grades, and plenty of community service/ extracurricular activities. Santa Clara University is a private school dedicated to teaching those who really want to learn. On campus they offer a center for performing arts, president's speaker series, and the de Saisset Museum for culture. They also have a top recreational program with sports teams in soccer, football, basketball, tennis, cross country, and golf. Students can apply for scholarships under sports should they wish to attend the university.
