Poppy Ridge Golf Course

Poppy Ridge Golf Course offers golfers of every skill level an opportunity for a challenging round of golf. The scenery at Poppy Ridge can best be described as picturesque. This 27-hole course layout is much different than nearby Poppy Hills in that it has only one original tree, an oak that can be seen on the eighth hole of the Chardonnay course. The three nine-hole venues, The Merlot, Chardonnay and Zinfandel nines provide and enjoyable yet challenging golf for players of any handicap. The views from around the three courses offer spectacular views of the golf terrain and areas beyond. There is an extensive bunker layout on almost every hole, providing the course with a bona fide links touch. Each 9-hole layout provides a completely different set of challenges. All three are course rated as 74.8 with a sloping rate of 141. Par on the three courses is 36, although the yardage from the longest tees varies slightly. Poppy Hills was designed by Rees Jones. The "Merlot" course offers 3,593 yards of golf from the longest tees, "Chardonnay" 3,513 yards, and "Zinfandel" 3,535 yards. All three have their own unique challenges and scoring opportunities. The clubhouse has the lasted golfing equipment and practice facilities are conveniently located nearby.
