Orange County Coast

The OC or Orange County Coast along Huntington Beach, California stretches for about 42 miles and offers some of the widest beaches in all of California. Visitors to the coastline can enjoy endless beach activities that are supported in this region such as bicycling, boogie boarding, surfing, strolling the beach, swimming, and even casual walking. Abundant tide pools, wildlife sanctuaries, ecological reserves and large nature centers are also found along the Orange County Coast. Nighttime bonfires and walks along the historic Huntington Beach Pier are some of the most sought after activities to do while visiting this area.

One well known area of the Orange County Coast is the Huntington Harbour which is one of the most romantic places to go in Southern California. Visitors can enjoy gondola rides and sip wine at sunset or rent a boat or kayak for an all-day cruise or fishing trip through navigable canals. The landmark Huntington Beach Pier, one of the longest recreational piers on the West Coast, is also located in this area and the beach is the site for surf competitions and other events throughout the year. Residents of LA arrive at Huntington Beach to get away from the daily rat race and to enjoy a weekend getaway.
