Niebaum-Coppola Winery

The Niebaum-Coppola winery is located in the Napa Valley and offers high-end wines. It is one of the oldest wineries in the state. The winery is surrounded by scenic grounds and tours cost $25 and are guided and very informational. The original winery which produced Inglenook wines was owned by Gustav Neibaum. In 1975, Francis Coppola bought the estate as a place to enjoy summer vacations and make wine in his basement. While the winery was larger than he had originally been searching for, he felt a connection to Naibaum and eventually restored the winery and created Niebaum-Coppola Winery. Many of the wines are nearly a century old. Wine club members can choose from three tiers of membership, each offering varying degrees of discounts, access to special events, and options to buy limited edition wines. Wines include reds, whites, estate, the Sofia collection, the Captain's Reserve, library wines, and employee favorites. Previous visitors to the winery encourage guests to splurge on touring, tasting, and purchasing wine for the full experience. The shop also features gourmet foods and products, wine accessories, glassware, and books about the region. Events are frequently hosted at the winery and visitors can rent the facility for special events of their own such as private tastings, intimate parties, or wedding celebrations.
