Mammoth Mountain


Mammoth Mountain is a resort area in California that offer year-round recreation. During winter, visitors can enjoy seven different winter ski parks and three pipes for snowboarding. Mammoth Unbound is considered one of the best ski parks in the county. Spread out of 90 acres of terrain, there are winter activities for everyone in the area.During the summer, the area is filled with great recreation activities like mountain biking, hiking, golf, horseback riding, gondola rides, fishing, and mountain climbing. Visitors to the mountain have a number of accommodation options including The Village Lodge, offering various size accommodations right in The Village of Mammoth. The Village Gondola is nearby and offers direct mountain access. The lodge offers five hot tubs, a heated pool, three fitness centers and a kid's arcade. The Juniper Springs Resort offers slopeside access during the height of the California ski season. Mammoth Mountain Inn is located at 90,000-feet elevation, right on the mountain. The final option, the Tamarack Lodge has been in operation since 1924 and is located two and a half miles from Mammoth Mountain. At the end of a long day on the mountain, head out for a delicious dinner at one of the Mammoth's various restaurants including The Mountainside Grill and Dry Creek, the Lakefront Restaurant at Tamarack Lodge, or the Yodler, offering views of the action on the mountain.
