Ice House Comedy Nightclub

Since 1960, the Ice House Comedy Club has been treating audiences to acts of humor, music, and all of the merriment they can handle. The club was the idea of Pasadena businessman Willard Chilcott, who believed the area needed an affordable entertainment venue for first-class music and comedy. The result was an intimate 200-seat showroom that has since hosted more than four million visitors.

Looking back over the past half century, it is difficult to find a major comedian who has not taken the stage here. Past performers include Bob Newhart, Robin Williams, Jerry Seinfeld, Jay Leno, Lily Tomlin, George Carlin, Steve Martin, Billy Crystal, David Letterman, George Lopez, Ellen Degeneres, Tim Allen, Bill Maher, and more.

The list of musical performances held here also looks like a Who's Who of famous names. Among those who have appeared are The Association, Seals and Crofts, Kenny Rodgers, Linda Ronstadt, Stephen Bishop, and Jennifer Warnes, to name just a few.

The Ice House Comedy Club is located at 24 North Mentor Avenue, Pasadena, California 91106-1745. Reservations can be made, but seating is offered on a first come, first served basis. Guests are advised to arrive at least 45 minutes prior to show time. Parking is available in a five-story garage across the street at a cost of $3~$5.
