Edward Sellers

Edward Sellers Vineyards and Wines has been around for several years offering several different vintages of wines to the public. In May 2010 they began a remodel of their facilities. They tore down their old barn, which was used for several events over the years and began construction on a new section of vineyard. Edward Sellers is located at 1401 West Highway in Paso Robles, California. It is not the only vineyard in the area. In fact the land is quite rich for growing grapes, so there are at least ten different vineyards in the area.

Edward Sellers is known for its handmade American Rhone wine. The vines came from the Rhone River Valley in France, and Edward Sellers constantly tries to recreate the French taste. They also have Syrah, Grenache, Voignier, Roussanne, and Mourverdre grapes that are handpicked by workers at Edward Sellers Vineyard. The label used for Edward Sellers is a 32 point compass. It is based on the Old World Maps that used the compass rose. Sellers is a sailor, pilot, and entrepreneur that began the vineyard with 30 acres in 2003. They felt the area was more like Napa Valley used to be before commercialism.
