Desert Dunes Golf Club

Ranked as one of the "Top 30 Public Golf Facilities" in the United States and named "A Four-Star Place to Play" by Golf Digest magazine, the Desert Dunes Golf Club features a par-72 layout crafted by legendary golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. in 1989. It is designed to play 6,876 from the back tees.

The Desert Dunes Golf Club is unique in the Palm Springs Area, in that there are no condominiums lining the course or traffic noise to contend with. Its rolling fairways wind through natural sand dunes, surrounded by native vegetation. Undulating bent-grass greens are protected by strategically placed bunkers. In fact, there is a trap right in the middle of the signature double green shared by the 9th and 18th holes.

The Desert Dunes Golf Club has hosted numerous U.S. Open and PGA Tour qualifiers. Most recently, it was selected by the Canadian Professional Golf Tour as the venue for its inaugural event in the area: The Desert Dunes Classic.

Facilities available here include a driving range, a short-game practice area, and a putting green. The Clubhouse features a fully stocked Pro Shop, and PGA instruction can be arranged. The Desert Dunes Golf Club is located at 19300 Palm Drive, Desert Hot Springs, California 92240-7333.
