Davis Greenbelt

The Davis Greenbelt or The Greenbelt is made up of ten distinct and connected greenbelts near Davis, California. The parks and bike paths are what make it continuous from north to south and east to west Davis. There are sixty miles in the greenbelt with about 10 square miles within the town. As part of the Greenbelt there is an Aboretum, places to walk, picnic and of course ride a bike. There are several bridges and tunnels for bikes to get through the park area. Kids can use it to get to school, play soccer, or just enjoy the large lawns.

Visitors wishing to tour the Greenbelt should probably have a map to get around the various streets, sections, and expanses. The Greenbelts can be broken into their north, south, east, and west locations. For example in the north there is Covell, Northstar, Perimeter, and Senda Nueva Greenbelts. South Davis includes Putah, Rose, and Willow Creek. East Davis offers Green Meadows, Mace Ranch, and Wildhorse. There are only two greenbelts to the west: Aspen and Evergreen. In the northern greenbelts there is a design called the Dominoes with four large recreations of domino tiles with different numbers.
