Boeger Winery

This family-owned winery has been in operation since 1972 when Greg and Sue Boeger purchased a ranch and began planting grapes. The tasting room opened in 1974 and since then people have come from all over the state and beyond to enjoy the wines offered by the winery. Considered the makers of some of the Sierra Foothill's finest wines, the Boeger's grown more than 90% of the grapes they use. The winery prides itself on delicious wines and also on its cutting-edge winemaking process. As one of the first producers of a varietal Merlot in California, the winery is well-known in the market as one of the best. Fans of the wines can join the Boeger Winery Wine Club, featuring pre-released bottles of wines, traditional wines, and special limited release wines. There are no membership fees, so wine club members pay only for the wines they receive. Each club member shipment includes two or three special selection wines, an article about the wines, a recipe card outlining dishes that will pair best with your selections, and a notification of any special events in the future. Nearby wine club members can pick up their selections at the winery. Whether you love innovative, local California wines, or you are simply a wine aficionado, you will enjoy a trip to Boeger Winery.
