Behring Auto Museum


The Behring Auto Museum is located in Danville, California also referred to as the Blackhawk Museum. They are open from 10am to 5pm Wednesday through Saturday. Admission is $10 or $7 for adults or children. Children under 6 are free. Admission does include a docent led tour which lasts roughly an hour. At the museum is a restaurant with French cuisine, as well as a gift shop for souvenirs. It can take all day to get through the museum depending on one's enthusiasm for cars.

Behring Auto Museum houses about 90 cars at one time in a space of 70,000 square feet. There are four gallery spaces, a board room, event space, and fully modern kitchen for events. Many of the automobiles on display are "one of a kind" options such as vehicles made for movies stars. One car was made for Rudolph Valentino. Another car on display is the 1934 MGPA Airline Coupe. It is a green car with two different tones. They also have a 1908 American Underslung Model 50, 1910 Mercer Model 30 Speedster, and a 1926 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost. The museum is about an hour from San Francisco for anyone in San Fran wishing for a day of fun.
