Beals Point


Beals Point is located in one of California's state parks new Folsom. Beals offers barbeque pits, grassy areas, and shaded areas for families to enjoy picnics and other park activities. Beals Point and the park area are open from 10am to 7pm during the summer.

Beal's Point offers overnight camping, as well. It is possible to make reservations through the park. In fact it is necessary to have reservations to ensure that you have a place to stay during the summer. Bicycling is very common at Beal's Point since there is the American River Bike Trail. The trail is 32 miles long starting at Beal's Point and running up the American River to Old Sacramento.

Also located at Beal's Point is a snack bar. The snack bar provides a variety of easy snacks, as well as rental equipment. Anyone who wishes to enjoy the beach can find pedal boats, sail boats, sail boards, jet skis, volleyball sets, row boats, and canoes at the stand. They can also rent shade canopies, rafts, and get lessons for windsurfing from the snack bar. Visitors will find catering and company picnics are offered through the snack bar for those who have a family or other event on the beach.
