Im glad Hogan won, but I dont like the fact that he embellished on the fact that Fortune 500 companies are leaving the State. Thats not 100% accurate....but lets see what he does

Brown ran a horribly negative campaign consisting of nearly 100% attack ads. He offered no new ideas, only reverberated what everyone knows far, far, far leftist liberals are already against.

Hogan however ran a mostly positive campaign (I'd say 60/40 because there were a few attack ads in there as well) where he laid out what Maryland's problems were and some ideas on how he would fix them if elected. Which is how it should be done.

Hogan also drummed up A LOT of support, especially from voters disenfranchised at the national congressional level due to the latest round of Gerrymandering. Hogan also rallied the small (in this state) evangelical/extreme base, rallied the conservative moderates, rallied far more than half of independents, and drew votes from plenty of moderate democrats as well.

Screwed up the (so failed we had to turn it over to another state's technology) Obamacare exchange. Pretty darn huge foulup, and it was supposed to be his flagship thing. This Democrat isn't so happy with that. Add that to the many tax hikes associated with O'Malley.

Speaking of medical stuff, Maryland legalized medical MJ but never really set up any system for it to actually *happen.* Fail. Maybe one day...

Not with this Governor.....you know Brown is like 5'0 tall, well dressed and groomed beyond belief. I cringed when I saw him speak at a chairity event two years ago.

So glad he failed!

Hogan's main mission, so far, is to lower taxes. Now that's a true business man running goverment.
