Google keeps coming up with unhappiest people in the world living in eight countries all in Africa.

Finland and Denmark consistently rated as having the happiest people in the world.

Seems to be far more reliable than something based on "Global Mindset" which seems more to mean empowering those in leadership roles to influence multicultural individuals, groups and organizations and nothing to do with producing statistics on whose sad and whose not sad

I think so. Note from teacher. Must do better. We can get to become first with just a little effort. Only downside would be the notoriety of being on top and the world wanting to come to be part of the best .

I suspect the list of countries in the positive group is indicative of the nonsense?

I honestly wonder if they have the slightest clue of what depression they are heading for, and what they are giving up. I see people of all races looking glum, doing the daily slog, but for what? I'm sure it's not the greener grass, because there's not much of that most of the year. Is the story of the streets being paved with gold, still being told? It's just sad.

Not sure if anyone really thinks that the streets of The UK are paved with gold. But most know it is likely an improvement of where they originate. They likely speak at least some English, if not near perfect. Much more than the countries within The EU they pass through anyway. Also Britain likely already is home to a large community of those wanting to enter, making settlement in their minds probably easier.

Obviously the reality of surviving in UK may shade opinions at a later stage. The high cost of living in places like London, on low wages can hardly be easy. But I expect France is no easier. It must be a wearying experience with many enticements towards illegal activity to attempt an 'easier' life.

U.S has dropped from 20th to 23rd unhappiest country. Unhappiest are the young who dont see the opportunities their parents had. Other reasons are the polarization and the diminishing chances of being able to afford the purchase of a home.
