WASHINGTON—Amid a baffling series of incidents in which the U.S. has shot down three unidentified flying objects, the White House said Monday it would create a team expected to study airborne objects and the potential security and safety risks they pose.
The new group, created at the behest of national-security adviser Jake Sullivan, would comprise elements of the Pentagon, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Department of Homeland Security and other government agencies, said U.S. officials.
The group will look at the “broader policy implications” of the objects for detection, analysis and disposition, said John Kirby, a spokesman for the National Security Council, on Monday. “Every element of the government will redouble their efforts to understand and mitigate these events,” he said.
But U.S. officials said they couldn’t explain what the other three objects were, even after closely studying them in the air before shooting them down.
UFO's as in Unidentified Flying Object which is what these were. The White House stressed today none of these were related in any way to aliens. They are all man made objects either from foreign countries or individual people.

Smart and sensible speak. They didn't mention gnomes or aliens or chimpanzees because they would be rightfully ridiculed.

All that means is that they were unfamiliar shapes. Flying objects can be made out of limitless designs by private companies. If they were alien crafts, do you think aliens that had the capacity to travel here would be so stupid as to send or use some type of aircraft that could be easily shot down?
There is no indication that these things traveled or maneuvered at speeds or in ways that a human aircraft could not easily knock them out of the sky with virtually no effort.

There was US military official when asked would not rule out that these things were alien.
You can't rule out gnomes or Martian chimpanzees either.
I am not a UFO fanatic. I am a skeptic. Along the lines of James Randi and Penn Jillette. As a child I was quite fascinated with UFO's. As I got into college and adulthood it waned. But it was Norad Commander who is not ruling out aliens not me.

Whatever the case may be, it’s no doubt unsettling that we’re starting to hear more about UFOs in the air—and them being shot out of the skies. It’s certainly unsettling too that it doesn’t seem like anyone knows what they are. Then again, we might not be all that comforted if we did know its origins. Think about it: Would you rather these objects be from an adversarial nation with a sizable nuclear arsenal? Or from aliens with a far more technologically superior civilization that we’ve maybe started a war with?
