My wife and I are considering a retirement move to St. Croix.
If we make the move, only one of us will be on Medicare and the other on a private pay policy of some kind.
I understand from my reading that Medicare works in US territories but I wanted to ask actual people who live there, what is it really like? Do actual doctors and hospitals take medicare wide spread?
Also, does anyone have a recommendation on a health insurance policy that will work if one of us is not 65 and on Medicare, approximate planning cost?
