Yep, once I heard KC was out, that turned me off. Hopefully, that means he has something really great on the horizon!

We want to watch it but won't pay for another streaming service

No, I don’t think so. The younger brother Kyle is the only bonafide law enforcement officer, the two older brothers (played by chandler and renner) are “fixers” or power brokers. Kyle chandler’s character “Mitch” was known as the mayor,
Spoiler
and when he got whacked, former felon mike (renner) is having to step up and carry the load his brother was handling.
Neither is an elected mayor or a prison warden.

So its just an organized crime family. An Irish one at that given their surname. Its basically Sopranos in a small town.

Gave it a half hour look. Not for me. To dark and dirty. As someone else said above, don't generally care for prison movies. Ick.

Now, Yellowstone - that's an entirely differently experience. Can't pry me away. Right not watching the Thanksgiving weekend marathon. it never gets old.

Per Variety - Yellowstone #1 2021 in all markets for the year. Taylor hit it out of the park with that one.

If you like Kyle Chandler, I really like Bloodline which is available on Netflix.

That's the new show where the promos show us Diane Wiest? She's enough to make me stay away.
