Thank you so much for the pics. I am originally from Sand Springs, just west of Tulsa and these pics bring back many memories. I love seeing the pics of the Arkansas River. Is the pedestrian bridge still there? I always loved walking on that at night.

Glad you enjoyed them. Yes, the 21st street bridge is still there! It's a great place to watch the fireworks from on the 4th.

do they still do the raft race from sand springs to riverside on Labor Day? That used to be hysterical to watch.

Unfortunately that ended in '92, I believe. I used to have a big poster of that event when I lived there. Kind of like a comic book of hilarious antics that took place in a river full of people. It's too bad they don't do that anymore.
