True, but I'm not sure they'd have questioned Tammy's death if she hadn't called the police. I think they may have focused on finding the kids and on Charles' death. Even if LEO suspected foul play with Tammy after figuring out there's a connection, they need a warrant to exhume her and may not have had enough evidence without that incident being documented.

Nobody wants to admit their loved ones would do ANYTHING to harm XYZ. They are in denial. I scanned the story, her mother evidently hasn't wanted to accept her daughter is a). mentally ill, as in crazy, or b). brainwashed by the man/husband/cultist. I myself don't believe those kids are alive, but I hope I am wrong.

I'll say they're both in denial! They have to see their family (or Lori) slaughtered on the news every day.... Lori very much deserves to be slaughtered in the news every day! Too bad we don't still have public hangings for animals like her!
They're delusional if they think Lori could tell them where the kids are if she wasn't recorded. I'll be shocked if the kids are alive. If they were, she would have produced them already.

Here's a longer interview. The mom and sister believed everything Lori told them. She was upset that Charles was lying that she thought she was a god. Even with everything that has come out, they STILL think Charles lied about that.
Cox, 51, was found unresponsive on his bathroom floor and pronounced dead at the hospital Dec. 12, 2019. The medical examiner has been working on the case for months and on Friday released a seven-page report, along with a four-page toxicology summary, in relation to the investigation.
Maricopa County Medical Examiner Lesley Wallis said Cox died of bilateral pulmonary thromboemboli, meaning blood clots got wedged into arteries of his lungs. Wallis determined atherosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease, meaning plaque buildup in the arteries leading to high blood pressure, also contributed to his death.
The medical examiner’s report shows detectives wrote that Cox complained of shortness of breath and chest pain for about a week before being found unresponsive
Cox weighed 227 pounds and was 6’ 1.” He appeared relatively healthy on the outside but when the medical examiner opened up Cox’s body, it was a different story, according to the report.
Inside Cox’s lungs were arteries clogged by blood clots and other arteries had a severe buildup of plaque, leading to high blood pressure. Wallis also found non-cancerous tumors inside his liver, an enlarged prostate and a polyp in the digestive tract.
