I think Skyscanner and Kayak might be helpful.

Google Flights is an excellent way to search for deals. I like to plug in proposed dates and my departure city/airport, and you can search "Anywhere" and a map of the world pops up with the best flight prices. Can also narrow by non-stop flights, duration, etc. Google Flights is absolutely our go to for airfare.

Do you book the flights through Google or do you use the Google information and go to the airline's website to book?

Google Flight to search, but always book through the airlines website for the best protections should a flight be cancelled, delated, etc.

I never use third-party sites. They don't have the up-to-date info on the flights and you can wind up arriving at the airport and not have a seat. I always book directly on the company website.

But you can comparison-shop on Kayak, then, when you've chosen a flight, book it on the airline's web site.
