INSANE video showing chasers in Oklahoma getting caught and hit by debris! WOW! "Go South Or We Die!!" You can see and hear the fear. Large chunks of debris and things getting ripped apart while a car on the left goes flying into a ditch I think and wipers get ripped off their car.
I hope people are listening to me when i say there are politics involved with the big NOAA/HPC/SPC boys. 10% chance? It was WELL KNOWN to all meteos and gurus that it was more like 90% chance Oklahoma would have a Tornado up into Illinoise. I will forever use this post to prove my theory those forecast maps are all pointless to use from them. Pointless. 10%????? Way to go SPC. Good job giving the public a heads up.
Unfortunetly 3 storm chasers died in the Oklahom Tornadoes. I heard the roads were flooded with storm chasers then the Tornado took a quick turn and many of them got caught. A sign from above?
You can see the left turn near El Reno there. If they were on I-40 or north of the path when it developed, they didnt know about the left turn towards them until it was too late. Wow
Emotional interview with Mike mentioning his experience, showing the tumbling car he was in, and mentioning his wife.
