Computer Science degree is far more versatile though. You can learn much of what they will teach you in IT and learn the programming/computer language/ etc of Computer Science as well. I'm an IT major as I am going for Information Security Systems. But I'm thinking about changing to Computer Science. I can do Math if I take the time to do it. It's just a notch below Computer Engineering which I thought about doing but after seeing the math, I gently declined. But still, your major is still a very good one if you don't want to change.

Thanks because I think CS is too much for me.

If you can... explain to me of MIS and CIS. I'm starting to confuse myself.

MIS/CIS:
generally, you learn some high level database (how to write a query and select data for example) some programming (web, java, C++ or whatever), and some system design, system documentation, and project management. You also take finance and accounting classes through the business school, and a lot of the programs you will write will have something to do with basic finance or accounting concepts (ie: basic math with variables, calulating tax rates, a basic billing program, etc).

Computer Science through the engieering school - you learn how to program at the lowest level - ie, binary or circuits, you learn about various file methods, (binary, ascii, etc), have to write many programs (java, C++, whatever), and about the higher level math required to optimize computer systems. You take the higher level math required to optimize computer programs and skip out on the business classes and most of the project managment classes. The programs you write will be to answer complex math problems or sometimes 3D modelling.
