For a traditional church (versus something started in someone's garage) check out The United Church of Christ which is the most widespread "traditional" church with liberal leanings.

There are:

Good Samaritan UCC in Pinellas Park

Faith UCC in Dunedin

Judaism? Islam? Hindu? the Christian "Bible" is true as written, IF one is a "believer", I mean, you can't pick and choose ...."liberally, or conservatively", at least what I believe LOL

maybe I'm wrong
There's nothing conservative either regarding the scripture yet it's been twisted and convoluted to reflect that, hence the request for "liberal" which more often than not refrain from judgmental assessments. I'm sure you're also aware of the existence of the New Testament and Old Testament. The "new" being geared toward modern day judgments and a flashing sign of right-wing conservatism.

I agree, they're definitely very liberal (or at least PC). Nice location downtown by the library and Mirror Lake too. Not Christian though, they're a hodge podge of all sorts of things. Heads up: after X amount of visits they want you to join and pretty much require that members tithe. They're generally well monied memberships no matter where you live, they tend to not do bohemian.

Thanks, I’m well acquainted with Unitarianism as I used to attend a Unitarian church. A lot hinges on the foundational membership of the church, I’ve found.

However, once I converted to Frisbeterian I stopped attending the Unitarian church. I feel far more comfortable knowing my soul will end up on the roof when I pass…
