I have a Xoom and wanted something to use to carry it around, hands free (with a shoulder strap).
A laptop case is way too big, and the tablet's protective sleeve is just a surface jacket without shoulder straps.

I looked at a bunch of different options in luggage stores, courier satchels, etc. and couldn't see anything near what I wanted. Then I walked past a DVD Player Case in Best Buy, and this fits perfectly, has just a little extra space if I want to snug in a power cord or such. I can throw it over my shoulder and have it tucked in below my arm or stretched across my back, totally out of the way.

And the best is, it's only $10.
Here it is in Amazon:
Amazon.com: Init Case for Most Portable DVD Players Up to 9" - Black: Electronics

Just some *thoughts*
1 - how can you make something like that and sell for just $1.85 ?!
2 - read on and see the idiotics of commercialism
---9 new from $1.85 7 used from $4.62

*new* is cheaper then *used* ?

I have a Camelback hydration backpack that fits my Nexus 7 nicely, even with my tablet cover on.

It fits like a sleeve, so the tablet doesn't shift at all.

It has dual shoulder straps, and I hardly notice I'm wearing it because it feels so light.

On our last trip Mrs. Tek put both our Galaxy 10.1 2014 tablets in her purse. She didn't have to take them out at the airports.

The prices for the items offered by affiliates on Amazon are set by the individual businesses. The very low prices generally indicate either a bulk purchase of overstock or discontinued items. They make a little money on the shipping charges also. The used prices are also set by the individual sellers, so they have no relationship to the prices for the new items set by the other individual sellers. They can ask whatever they want for their items as can the individual sellers of the new items. Amazon has its own pricing policies, so the same item offered by Amazon itself can be completely different from the prices asked by affiliates selling the same item through Amazon. That's why you see such a wide variety of prices for the same item on online selling sites. There is no law that says a seller cannot ask more for a used item than some other or even the same seller asks for a new item. The buyer can choose to buy whichever item appears to meet his needs.

My pack looks very similar to this one:

Amazon.com: USMC Camelbak Thermobak 2L Hydration Pack. Desert Digital.: Sports & Outdoors

Not sure if these packs would fit a 10" tablet, but they work fine for 7" and probably 8".

Camelbak also makes shorter hydration packs as well which may fit a tablet even better, such as this 50oz model:

For anyone who has never seen these hydration packs up close, the inside soft plastic bottle with screw on cap is removable, so they work fine as regular backpacks.
