You can have up to four dogs in Santa Clara. And they just built another dog part in St George couple years ago. And there might be more since then. When I would take my dogs to Home Depot the cashiers would hand me a dog treat as I entered also at the pharmacy drive thru and even at the dump. This would never happen when I lived In San Diego.

Hello. I am looking at a farm in Enterprise, UT. I have 4 rescue dogs amongst other animals. They are for my emotional stability. Do any of you know if being outside city limits on a farm of 52 acres if I would be able to have my 4 dogs and my chickens with 3 roosters?

As you'd be outside city limits, I'd start by calling the county clerk. There may be different limits for multiple livestock animals versus pets.

As for the 2 dog limit, there are many, many places across the USA that limit residential dog/cat ownership to 2.

IMO it's a stealth tactic to prevent illegal dog breeding (i.e. puppy mills.)
