Sounds to me like a great argument for "women's rights"

But I guarantee you all the "rednecks" in the surrounding counties flying MAGA flags on their ranches aren't gonna stand for that.

Latest stats:

https://www.sa.gov/Directory/Departm...-Library/NIBRS

The stats can be manipulated all you want, including the above. However, crime is down nationally, and either down, flat, or barely up here. So, I guess I'm personally calling it a wash.

Crime in itself isn't managed at the whim of the political leanings of a DA... it is a highly complex social issue that has numerous inputs including a lot of uncomfortable truths regarding economics, healthcare rights, and other social issues.

Yes, crime is down just like illegal immigration is down and the border is secure. Oh, and prices are also down and so is inflation.

Things are just fantastic! LOL

You need to research the methodology used to make those "lower crime" claims.

I made no claim as to political affiliation - only their willingness to pursue criminal activity.

I always find it interesting that when data contradicts an observer’s narrative or perspective, the observer always defaults to criticizing the “methodology used”. It strikes me that several things can be true. One—-total criminal activity can be down relative to prior years. Two—-in spite of lower overall crime rates, the absolute level of crime can still be way too high. .

How about "when practical experience and knowledge fails to support a false narrative being pushed by others....."?

Yeah, there seems to be a lot of people here with “practical experience and knowledge” that goes well beyond what law enforcement, the FDA, the CDC, academics with advanced degrees and years of experience, etc. have. Nothing wrong with having an opinion, but easy to have one and: (a) not have to deal with the consequences of acting on that opinion, and (b) expressing it behind an anonymous screen name.

Too many people who post here think way too highly of themselves. “If only the world lived and did as I say, everything would be wonderful.”

Yes...you certainly do. Talk to the LEO's in town - ask them about the same core group of actors that they deal with because they're constantly being released on PR/no bond, then go back out and re-offend. The very "child" this story revolves around was out with other charges pending, was he not? How many DUI's are committed - repeatedly? Yet we're told "crime is down".
