People seemingly always need something to argue about. You put everyone in one state, people will start arguing about what area has better sunlight.
Arguing is not the same as mocking and ridiculing people. People have individual preferences so arguing which is better makes no sense. Besides I definitely do not want to talk a city dweller into moving to my rural area.

City slickers or rural bumpkins. They both exist, but they are not the majority in either world. I've lived in both worlds. I've met great and caring people in both worlds, so generalized denigration of either is only for lazy-minded people.
I agree - the idea that either city people, or country people are good and the other are bad is flawed from the get-go.
And the irony of this thread is, it's a bunch of country folks insulting city folks, and yet, the thesis of the thread is that the real problem is that city folks put down country folks.
