".....disclosing too much information about financial fees and compensation could endanger the lives of hedge fund managers". This from a letter to the Rhode Island Attorney General arguing that these things are better kept as secrets from taxpayers footing the bill.

"They're (hedge funds) like snow tires. They may cost more but when it snows, boy are you glad you have them." This is the Harvard "economist" who had been rumored to be heading for Treasury?

The Democratic party’s bench is weak. For those who can’t tell, one way to know is by CBS fluffers painting Raimondo as a rising star in the party. Who else do they have? Gretchen Whitmer? Mayor Pete? Cackles Harris? Gavin Newsom? I’m not a fan of Raimondo, but she may fill the hole for them. And sooner than you think.

I don’t see Biden being capable of fulfilling another term. Something just has to happen at the convention.

I put her odds at better than even. Not just for the nomination, but for the office. I'm thinking '28.

For ‘28? Or ‘24? Because there is a vacuum right now.

Ok, you’ve edited your post. If the Dems put her up at the convention this year, I think she could win. But four years from now, I would not be willing to place any bets.

I think you give her too much credit. She fades beside Whitmer who looks to be the whole package.

Presidential elections have ceased to be based on qulification. She'll have money. Lots of money. And freed of Rhode Island's political considerations, you'd find her to have about as much in common with you, as a self-proclaimed progressive, as I do. This will be the Democrat's answer to Ronald Reagan. Remember, this is a woman who not only won an award from the Manhattan Institute for innovator of the year, but showed up to accept it. And John Arnold didn't give her a hundred grand because he wanted a date for Saturday night. First thing I'd do is change the combination on the Social Security lock box.
