To be honest, I don't know why the level of concern you feel you should or should not have is...well...of any concern in this situation. The fact of the matter is that she needs to get in to see a doc and have this looked at. Who cares how much her boyfriend is concerned for her? Any person with any amount of decency or morals would be concerned about a person who has had this happen. Hell, I'm concerned about her and I don't even know her!
I think you need to stop over thinking whether or not you have the right to be concerned and get her into the ER or a clinic - somehow, some way. -
TK, have you discussed her head injury and sleeping outside with other than the forum, lets say her family, her boyfriend? If you haven't , it's something you definitely should do. If someone takes it the wrong way, it's there problem, at least you've done the right thing.

I pretty much keep to my room (there's two bathrooms, and she decided I'd get the one with the master, while she'd get the one that any company coming over (her friends) would use). She's got things set up the way she wants them---and either I or her boyfriend get to help set it up. He's disabled too, but a little better off than she is...he can still lift and carry stuff that she cannot.
Stop being emotional about this and be logical. You TELL her to get her ass in the ****ing car because she is going to the hospital. You are not finding a gd dead body because she does not feel like going. She got knocked in the head and is NOT thinking strait obviously by sleeping outside.
All these days have gone by and you still haven't lifted a finger to either get her to a physician or to the ER yourself or have someone else do it? I guess sitting at the computer analyzing the whole situation takes precedence. I'm flabbergasted.
How do you know I have not done something yet?
I posted the other day that I was putting my foot down about it.

Actually, if I looked at this completely logically--her well-being wouldn't matter to me at all. Doesn't affect my life. She's not MY girlfriend. So why should I care? I don't ordinarily care about other people.
I suppose I'm not completely logical though. There might be about a 10% amount of emotion in there. I'm not really big on feelings, to be honest.
Even though I still think I overstepped my boundaries, she did see a doctor yesterday. She thought we were going somewhere else.
just because she is your ex doesnt mean you cannot be a human to her. heck, ask her if anything is wrong, the worst she can say is to butt out and shut up.
Yes, he is - and it's actually that cold here lately. It's 29/30 in Tampa right now and I had to scrape ice off of my car windows w/ a lighter and my drivers license a couple of hours ago (gimme a break, all I could find to do the job).
The price of Orange Juice is going up. Stock up now.

And? Hello, I'm dying over here wondering if this girl is ok!
