Remote work is so common now, so what are some 100% remote options for those interested in the real estate industry? I know about transaction coordinators and referral agents. Anything else?
There isn't much. Real estate is still a face to face business even though there things such as docusign that allow us to do some things remotely. Office assistant type stuff you can mostly do remote.

I call them my best recruiting pools. Any agent who tries online brokerages in my area end up not doing it for long. They are easy pickings when it comes to recruiting new agents.
The only 100% remote real estate positions would be something like Transaction Coordinator (TC), Admin, Inside Sales Agent (ISA), Marketing Coordinator, and that's about all I can think of but some of these positions only exist in the really large teams.

I can understand the temptation. Take eXp for example, their cap is roughly 1/3 of what I pay and they give their agents some pretty powerful CRM software for free. This being said, I know I'm a people person and like to see actual human beings from time to time. Also, I feel like I appear a lot more professional meeting my clients in a conference room rather than a Starbucks. So, I know this kind of arrangement isn't for me.

I'm a manager in commercial/industrial real estate, working remotely now. My people are doing lease administration, insurance compliance, and utilities management, also remotely. After COVID we may go back to the office, at least part-time, but don't have to. It's only the property managers who show properties and negotiate leases that have to go onto our properties on a regular basis. They are still doing much of their work remotely. Well, and of course the facilities and maintenance people, engineers and IT people at times have to work on-site as usual.
Thanks, everyone. It's nice to see that there are some legit options available for remote work in the real estate industry. I'm just trying to plan ahead for when the world decides to open back up.
