Just to give people an idea. We rented a brand new two bedroom two bath in Rapid last July. Nice place, great location. 1162 which was a steal from where we came from. Same units are now pricing low 1600. Could just be this particular apartment complex. I don’t know we found a house and are not looking anymore . But a 40% jump is pretty extraordinary. Supply and demand I guess.

You can find places to buy or rent but it is going to cost you. The problem is big demand and short supply. You may have to settle for something kind of crappy just to get into the area so you can look around more.
