The day after the eclipse I found Lucky. Left for dead in a hotel room. I knew I had a special bond with Lucky. Lucky wasn't looking so good so I got permission and I rescued Lucky. Took her home.
I fed Lucky and everything and really wanted her to make it. She enjoyed me petting her and everything.
A little more than maybe a week after having Lucky we took her to get vet tests and they said she had "Feline Leukemia" and they put her down.
I miss Lucky. But I also didn't get too too too attached to Lucky so I don't know how I feel.
I'm not checking this thread because I'm trying to start a new life. But Lucky is gone. What do you think happened to Lucky?
If you loved your cat, how can you abandon it when it needs you the most? People can be so disgusting. As far as I'm concerned, whoever abandoned Lucky should do a short stint in the pokey.
Unfortunately, feline leukemia is a common cat killer. I haven't heard of any vaccine for it.
