The late hit on Mahomes out-of-bound moved the Chiefs close enough for the winning field goal.

Not what I’m talking about. I think it was in the first quarter.

Yeah, I am not sure Butker would have hit without those 15 yards...

Philly is a great, complete team.

That being said, the Chiefs today showed that too as the defense held the Bengals to 20 points and made a bunch of big plays.

Flip a coin IMO.

-------------------------------------------------

Complete side comment. The problem with "mobile QB's" is exactly what we saw with Mahomes today. Mobile is a "bonus" it cannot be an expectation in this violent injury filled league.

If that was hurts today playing against the Bengals with a bum ankle do they win? Uh, I'll go hard no there at this point in his career (being respectful to his general awesomeness and growth).

This was a classic matured Mahomes game. Limited scrambling, pocket passer.

No question in the cold like that. The Chiefs would have had to try for a quick 8-10 yard out route to the sideline and then kick a 50-52yarder.

I feel bad for the guy, "the Shove" is going to go down in NFL lore.

This is what they have challenge flags for.

The more obvious one would be the non-throw fumble from Mahomes when the Chiefs were in field goal range if I’m not mistaken. They likely would have scored something on that drive. Instead, it allowed the Bengals to recover and tie it up again. Had all that not happened, that last drive might have been a knee to run down the clock. That was one of the most consequential plays.

Sounds good to me, since Cleveland fans have to live with The Drive and The Fumble.
