On the topic of running up the score, in college football the so-called powehouse teams purposely schedule games agaisnt the patsies, just so they CAN run up the score and garner some votes in the early polls. Nothing like creaming a patsy by a score of 76 to 10 in the first game of the season to get your team in the rankings. Sometimes that strategy backfires and it bites ya in the butt as with Michigan vs Appalachian State, and we all get to re-experience the pleasure of David slaying Goliath.
And my prediction of 34 to 9 was close. Only one problem, though. I didn't take into consideration about the points rolled in the second half. Score at the end of the first half was 35 to 7.

Another reason I go 34 to 9 on this one is Don Shula is running his mouth again. I'm sure the Patriots are taking notice of him-AGAIN.
Well that turned out to be a tight nail biting game huh. After watching the Patriots play, it is hard to watch anyone else. All the other games are boring. Kinda like high school kids playing an NFL team.
