So there was another thread not long ago about a 32 yo man who wanted to have kids on his own and he was told not to.
I have to say i have the same feelings here on this. There are so many people in the world already, I just dont think we need anyone who feels like it to be having more kids. Hell I see married couples having 4, 5, 6 kids and I think it's kind of irresponsible.
Having kids isn't easy, definitely works best with two people (I don't care if it's a mom and dad or what). It's one thing to end up a single mother because someone left you...but questionable to decide to impregnate yourself because you want a child. As someone else mentioned there's adoption or fostering a child.
You seem to be thinking of a child as a playmate / companion/ accessory. Before doing this, please thoughtfully read some of the many studies about the negative effects of single parenting on children. Of course no one ever thinks that their own child will become one of the statistics, but obviously a large number of them are wrong.
Just because you 'can' do something doesn't mean you should.
