My parents had a gigantic argument on their honeymoon about what to name their first son. Six daughters......
lol. I admit I hoped I would have a boy and a girl and that's what I got. It always struck me as funny that some people would keep trying if they had 2 of the same or 3 of the same. My cousins wanted a girl and they got 4 boys. Someone else I know had 4 boys, then finally had a 5th that was a girl.
My former boss had 2 boys, went for a 3rd and it was also a boy. She admitted to being upset, she really was hoping for a girl. Apparently science has plans to allow people to choose someday?
I did pretty much the opposite of what this article suggests - I never ate breakfast and what I ate was not high calorie - and I wound up having 2 sons.
I think there is some evidence that it's a biological chemistry thing. Some women's bodies may be more naturally inclined to conceive boys vs girls and vice versa but the reality is...it could be either sex. You can't plan these things.

They can sex semen for livestock, so can probably do it for humans, too. Go to all the expense of having the pregnancy manufactured in the laboratory to get a greatly enhanced chance of a male offspring..
Plenty of people want those girls, so you could give them away to make room for boys.
