Do you or your father have a lot of sisters?

Wait...if ultrasound gender detection is only 50% accurate than you don't even need it, as there are two only two choices - a boy or a girl.

Someone a thousand miles away can just announce by mail that you are "having a girl" or "having a boy" and have the same odds of being accurate as an ultrasound.

I saw a couple on Forensic Files only yesterday, the wife got life for murdering their baby girls. Reason? Husband didn't want girls, and refused to share a bed with his wife because she 'gave him' girls.

Be grateful you can have children at all. If I had a father with your chauvinism, I'd disown him.

It is definitely way more accurate than that!

Sorry to hear about your disappointment. Don't get caught up in the mess of this and that. At least you are able to have children. There are plenty of couples who would want daughters or sons but can't have children.

That's what I suspected. I doubted if it was 100%, but 50% is just chance.

See a therapist to find out what your issue is with girls?

"Early ultrasounds may not be the best, most accurate gauge of whether you're expecting a boy or girl, according to some experts."
Even doctors make jokes

My neighbors gk was told she was expecting a boy, but the baby was a girl. So they are not accurate at all, & this was done at around 6 months.

It is all about you. That is the only thing that matters.

Option 2. Raise the new daughter as a boy. Put her in pants and give her trucks and guns to play with. Only let her play with boys as she grows up. Odds are she will decide she is a boy and get surgery and drugs to become a sort of male. Then you will have a son.
Hahahahaha! In today's world, option 2 is all too likely an outcome. Awful.
