This thread is nuts. I can't believe how many times it has been revived by first time posters asking if they could be pregnant. Pee on a stick or go to the doctor!

I've had my hulka clips(tubal sterilization) done in 1994 all of a sudden I haven't had a period since last month of April. I'm 45 yrs old and freaking out. I'm with a new man who is wonderful and he started joking were gonna have twins watch. But I'm sterile. My youngest will be 24 and I had it done after he was born in 1994.

You are more likely to be perimenopausal than pregnant. Keep a written record of your periods (dates and amount of flow), see what happens over the next three months or so, then see your gynecologist. If you have a prolonged period, go on and make an appointment.

Take a pregnancy test ASAP; as you are at risk for an ectopic pregnancy. That is a very serious condition & it can be fatal.

Wow, Bella, it seems very unlikely after all this time, but what is stopping you from getting to the drugstore?

Omg y'all are scaring me! I had tubal ligation done in October of last year and it's been going on three months that I haven't had my period. My last period that I had I had twice in the same month. Is this normal?!? What should I do? I have 5 kids and definitely don't want another and I'm also NOT exhibiting any pregnancy symptoms. Sometimes I do have bloody mucus that ends up showing up every once in a while.
