Theft under $250

Armed robbery

sex work

Resisting arrest

Dealing Drugs

And the list goes on.

Glad to see Fat Alvin has his priorities in order to protect NY from rich old white men.

Past behavior is an indication of future behavior. Minor criminal activity if not addressed the moment it surfaces, leads to more criminal activity.

Shop lifting often leads to sneaking onto private property which leads to burglary which, if it becomes a habit, often leads to murder eventually.

NY people will see more deaths in the future.

But don't ever dare think about stopping a criminal from committing a crime, stop a criminal from killing you, or stop an attack on an innocent person. Those will have you arrested and prosecuted.

Violent crime is okay and even encouraged provided you are a member of certain racial group who statistically committed a huge number of violent crimes before violent crimes were legalized in New York.

It's the definition Defining Deviancy Down. Once minor crimes are seen as normal, and not worth prosecuting, then the next crime up from that is deemed as not so bad either. This then causes law enforcement and private security personnel from stopping the people committing these crimes, because no DA will not waste the time and resources to even prosecute them anymore.

You keep descending down this spiraling path until eventually you have groups of teens looting retail store shelves bare, in front of store security, because they have all learned that it's no longer really a crime anymore.

Then once the small retail stores flee the city, because looting is legalized, the criminals seek other sources they can steal from. Eventually even grand larceny car theft is no longer prosecuted. What crimes are above stealing a $20,000 car? Well now those crimes are not so bad either. Welcome to a Democrat run city near you.
