It seems that the organs most effected were Kidney and Liver function, the two major diet detoxification organs. As well as Heart, adrenal, blood cells, spleen. Sounds like a GREAT Product our Gov wants to peddle to us with the help of Monsanto and Bill gates.

researchers found that agricultural giant Monsanto's GM corn is linked to organ damage in rats.

According to the study, which was summarized by Rady Ananda at Food Freedom

"Three varieties of Monsanto's GM corn -Mon 863,
insecticide-producing Mon 810,
and Roundup® herbicide-absorbing NK 603 -

were approved for consumption by US, European and several other national food safety authorities."

No surprize. I just got a call last night, from a group that is trying to get this crap labeled in CA. We weren't able to get irradiated on a label, so I don't hold out much hope on this. It's pretty much all corn, soy, and canola.
I just read that one country burned all the gmo corn fields. Ah, it's Hungary.

Thanks for posting this. I have given up all corn and corn syrup containing products, sugar, and whole grains- especially wheat which is also genetically modified. I have increased raw vegetables by a huge amount over what I used to eat. I have lost 15# and feel super energetic.

Not to worry, there are delicious baked goods that can be made with such things as almond flour and coconut flour. Yes, you have to make them yourself and cannot just tear into a store bought pre-sliced bread loaf or a Little Debbie package, but it is so worth it! It's not hard because you feel great and have more energy to prepare all your food from scratch- so you know what's in it!

From the company that brought you agent orange, DDT, PCBs, rbgh, GMO, and other wonderful toxins currently banned in the EU, New Zealand, Japan, Canada & Australia.

Yeah, this is the company we want in charge of our food production. Only in America.

The United States is the only developed nation to permit humans to drink milk from cows given artificial growth hormone.[2] Posilac was banned from use in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and all European Union countries (currently numbering 27), by 2000 or earlier.

And guess what ? Farmers didn't rotate their crops like they should have..corn prices were just too good so they planted year after year instead of every other year in the same field. I've noticed that in some fields around me..they used to rotate..corn then sorghum and then back to corn but for the last 2 years it was corn and then more corn.

Guess what happened ? The pesticide isn't working anymore. Doesn't seem to be strong enough as the insects are becoming resistant to it.

Wanna bet that a more potent corn seed will be developed with twice as much pesticide ?

When you all finally get fed up with what passes for food then you will act.
Go off and do some research on your own and read about what is happening in the US and in other countries. With Big Ag and the biotechs in bed with the FDA/USDA you won't get too much info from the main MSM sites.

That's what happens when you give companies too much freedom. Are the FDA and EPA bought?

So what happened to their crops? How much were they able to harvest this season (or last)?

This isn't about the crops, it's about the insects the pesticide in the corn was supposed to kill. The insects are becoming resistant to the pesticide because the farmers didn't rotate. Corn is subsidized, sorghum is not.

From my link in post #5:

"Most farmers rotate corn with other crops in a practice long used to curb the spread of pests, but some have abandoned rotation because they need extra grain for livestock or because they have grain contracts with ethanol producers. Other farmers have eschewed the practice to cash in on high corn prices, which hit a record in June."

No. The FDA, EPA and USDA have revolving doors with industry.
They don't have to lobby, they just go and get a job with the government, get their stuff approved and then go back to industry.

Plenty of articles on it. The one on the cow hormone (Monsanto/FDA) is particularly interesting and the FDA said "no conflict of interest" to that one.
