I am an animal lover and think to take pictures of them for a job would be the best! Does anyone here take pictures of pets/animals professionally? If so do you stay busy?

It depends on your area. Right here, we have overboundance of photogs, weddings, people, pets, you name it. Tough market!!

Your job is to put yourself out there, and be the best at what you do. It isn't easy to accomplish as you might think )
Get an idea about your area, look for local photographers, see their prices and quality of work. Once you figure out who, where, what and how much, have a plan in place on how you fit among pros in the areas ) Learn your competition and learn from them.

Good luck!
