Says the Pot. It's your side that bends the Constitution to suit their narratives, you all look the other way when one of yours breaks the law, and on-and-on....

BTW, if Arpaio broke any laws, he should face the punishment just like anyone else.

You seem to have forgotten that Arpaio was convicted.

Let's not forget that most of all, he and his cronies wanted those construction contract multi-millions for "The Wall." Good thing that went bye-bye, for the most part. I dread the upcoming election when no doubt we'll again hear shouting about that wall. They whipped up a frenzy about illegal aliens and keeping them out, when it was really about money for the wall.

Do you really think celebrity jailbirds aren't treated like they're at a country club?

And yes, he should have behaved himself. Why should the country leave it alone after he behaved badly? That's ridiculous saying that the county shouldn't have spent the money to prosecute him.

The main reason he resigned as sheriff is because he was hoping for big perks in the T administration, amongst them that wall.

Arpaio was found guilty of criminal contempt and disobeyed orders to stop his raids. He broke the law and was convicted but DJT pardoned him as a political move.

Maricopa County is faced with millions for his legal debts. He should get the bill and his supporters can help with the payments if they stand behind him like they say.

Arpaio kept running for re-election and was defeated in 2016. He wouldn't resign after all the legal action.

Sorry my mind was fuzzy I thought I remembered that he had resigned but he actually just didn't run for re-election right? Wasn't he angling for some kind of impressive appointment by djt? Anyway I lived in Arizona for years while he was still Sheriff - ugh.

Fuzzier yet. He did run for re-election and lost (2016). He tried again in 2020 but lost in the primary.
