Why not Greenfield Road. On the maps it's pretty much the halfway point. Since the city limits hit parts of Loop 101/Price Road (west city limits) all the way to Meridian Road (east city limits).

Yeah, probably Gilbert Rd. The density seems to change on either side of it, and downtown Mesa is squarely in the middle of then what would be considered "West Mesa", which seems about right.
